Thousands of years ago, Rome was one of the most important cities in the world. Legends say that the city was formed by two twin brothers, Romulus and Remus who were given up at birth and raised by a sheepwolf. When the twins grew up they decided to build a city where they were left. They argued over the boundaries of the cities and Romulus in anger, killed Remus. After Remus’s death, the city was named Rome because Romulus ruled and conquered the city.
